So i needed to make a small present for about 50 people, and I decided that a key chain would be perfect. So out came these fsh. Quick, simple and absolutely adorable, they’re fun to make and great to give!
Needles: US 5 / 3.75 mm
Working in a round, cast on 18 sts, make sure to leave a tail at least four inches long.
*K2tog, K5, SSK, repeat from * (14 sts remaining)
*K2tog, K3, SSK, repeat from * (10 sts remaining)
*K2tog, K1, SSK, repeat from * (6 sts remaining)
*K1, inc 1, K1, inc 1, K1, repeat from * (10 sts remaining)
*K1, inc 1, K3, inc 1, K1, repeat from * (14 sts remaining)
Knit 7 rounds
*K2tog, K3, SSK, repeat from * (10 sts remaining)
*K2tog, K1, SSK, repeat from * (6 sts remaining)
Cut off a tail of yarn about two inches long, weave through live sts. Pull through the hole and pull tight. Cut end so that it doesn’t poke through the bottom.
Using the cast on tail, weave the two sides of the fsh’s tail together. Pull the tail of yarn into the fsh and cut so that there is some lenght inside the fsh but none outside.

Oh these are so cute thanks for posting the pattern i love quick knits!

I think they make great magnets, as well as keychains.

Could you please post the (before completing row > After completing row) numbers in there for me at the end of each row? I’m having a really hard time with my stiches.
