I wanted something a little nicer for work this summer, so I started this sweater, which is perfect with a cami underneath.

Yarn: 4 hanks Knit Picks Gloss

Needles: US 4 / 3.5 mm

Gauge: 12 sts / 2 in.

16 rows / 2 in.

Diamonds Pattern

Stitch Legend:

C2F
Slip the next stitch onto a stitch holder, place the stitch holder in front of the work, knit one stitch, and then knit the stitch from the stitch holder. (Same for right or wrong side of work).
1Right
Slip the next stitch onto a stitch holder, place the stitch holder at the back of the work, knit one stitch, and then purl the stitch from the stitch holder. (Same for right or wrong side of work).
1Left
Slip the next stitch onto a stitch holder, place the stitch holder in front of the work, purl one stitch, and then knit the stitch from the stitch holder. (Same for right or wrong side of work).
C2B
Slip the next stitch onto a stitch holder, place the stitch holder at the back of the work, knit one stitch, and then knit the stitch from the stitch holder. (Same for right or wrong side of work).
k1/p1
Knit one on the right side. Purl one on the wrong side.
p1/k1
Purl one stitch on the right side. Knit one stitch on the wrong side.

Front

Cast on 120 sts.

Work in K2 P2 ribbing for two inches, ending on an even row.

*K1, P2, K3, P1, K10, P1, K3, P2, K8, P2, K7, repeat from * three times across.

Follow Diamonds cable pattern until the front measures twelve inches from the cast on edge.

Continue with the cable pattern for 36 sts, cast off 48 sts, continue to end of the row.

Right Side Neck Decrease:

Working the right side of the front, on the wrong side row, continue with the pattern to the last 3 sts, K3tog (34 sts).

Bind off 2 sts, continue with the pattern to the end of the row (32 sts).

Continue with the pattern to the end of the row (32 sts).

P2tog, continue with the pattern to the end of the row (31 sts).

Continue with the pattern to the end of the row (31 sts).

P2tog, continue with the pattern to the end of the row (30 sts).

Continue with the pattern to the last 2 sts, K2tog (29 sts).

Continue with the pattern to the end of the row (29 sts).

Continue with the pattern to the last 2 sts, K2tog (28 sts).

Continue with the pattern to the end of the row (28 sts).

Continue with the pattern to the end of the row (28 sts).

P2tog, continue with the pattern to the end of the row (27 sts).

Continue with the pattern until the right side of the front measures 15 inches from the cast on edge.

Right Side Shoulder Decrease:

Continue with the pattern on every right side row. At the beginning of every wrong side row K2tog and then continue with the pattern to the end of the row. Continue decreasing on every wrong side row until the right side of the front has 15 sts.

Continue with the pattern until the right side of the front measures 21 inches from the cast on edge.

Bind off.

Left Side Neck Decrease:

On the right side row of the left side of the front, continue with the pattern to the end of the row (36 sts).

Bind off 2 sts, continue with the pattern to the end of the row (34 sts).

Continue with the pattern to the last 3 sts, P3tog (32 sts).

Continue with the pattern to the end of the row (32 sts).

Continue with the pattern to the last 2 sts, P2tog (31 sts).

Continue with the pattern to the end of the row (31 sts).

Continue with the pattern to the last 2 sts, P2tog (30 sts).

K2tog, continue with the pattern to the end of the row (29 sts).

Continue with the pattern to the end of the row (29 sts).

K2tog, continue with the pattern to the end of the row (28 sts).

Continue with the pattern to the end of the row (28 sts).

Continue with the pattern to the end of the row (28 sts).

Continue with the pattern to the last 2 sts, P2tog (27 sts).

Continue with the pattern until the right side of the front measures 15 inches from the cast on edge.

Left Side Shoulder Decrease:

Continue with the pattern on every wrong side row. At the beginning of every right side row P2tog and then continue with the pattern to the end of the row. Continue decreasing on every right side row until the left side of the front has 15 sts.

Continue with the pattern until the left side of the front measures 21 inches from the cast on edge.

Bind off.

Back

Cast on 120 sts.

Work in K2 P2 ribbing for two inches, ending on an even row.

*K1, P2, K3, P1, K10, P1, K3, P2, K8, P2, K7, repeat from * three times across.

Follow Diamonds cable pattern until the back measures 15 inches from the cast on edge.

Decrease at the beginning of every row until there are 96 sts total.

Continue with the pattern until the  back measures 21 inches from the cast on edge.

Bind off.

Sleeves:

Cast on 68 sts, join in a round.

Work in K2 P2 ribbing for two inches.

Make one st, P11, K2, P12, K2, make one st, P11, K2, P12, K2, P12, K2.

*P12, K2, repeat from * to the end of the round.

*P12, hold K st on cable needle in front of work, K1, K st on cable needle, repeat from * to the end of the round.

*P12, K2, repeat from * to the end of the round. Repeat row three more times.

Repeat last five rows until the sleeve measures 11 inches from the cast on edge.

P6, turn work.

Working flat now, decrease at the beginning of every row for 24 rows, continue to cable K sts every four rows (44 sts).

Decrease at the beginning and end of every row for 10 rows, continue to cable K sts every four rows (24 sts).

Bind off.

Finishings

Sew the left and right side of the front to the back.

Pick up stitches around the neck, one st every 2-3 rows. (approx. 200 sts total)

Work in K2 P2 ribbing for two inches.

Bind off in K2 P2 ribbing.

Sew sleeves to body.

Sew in all ends.

Block and enjoy!

    What is the actual measurement on this ? like bust and waist , please (:
    beautiful pattern btw .
